The GreenSource Process
Born from a leader in the Mass Emergency Notification industry, GreenSource Fabrication started as a captive PCB Fabricator in Charlestown, New Hampshire. Because of our location in the pristine state of New Hampshire, we were committed to becoming the only “Green” PCB Fabrication facility on the planet, which was accomplished in 2013. In 2017 it was decided to transition us to a third party provider for the North American market. We started “Phase two” that same year and became “GreenSource Fabrication LLC” in September 2019.
Ever committed to the “Green” process GSF has developed our own waste treatment system that results in us recirculating water through a closed loop filtering system. We consume less than 1,500 liters of water per day, most of which is lost through evaporation. We use more water in our restrooms than we do in production!
Our chemistry reclamation system recovers our chemistry for reuse and the resulting “waste” is an inert material that does not require being handled as hazardous waste. We are the ONLY fabricator in North America, and perhaps the world, that does not require hazardous waste to be transported off site. We do not require an (EPA) F006 permit. Our only permit for chemistry states we do not require permits for chemistry. We reclaim our etched copper and recycle that through a local reclamation service provider. Likewise we have a very aggressive recycling program for other materials used in our various processes.
In our continued drive to being “Green” we support “The Arbor Day Foundation” and to date have funded the reforestation effort across the planet. We are proud to have maintained this commitment to being “Green” while at the same time providing OEM’s in North America an option for VHDI and UHDI products while remaining true to our effort of “do no harm” to the planet. Right now it’s the only one we have.
